What Your Luggage is Saying About You
Stansted Airport is very often chock full of people bustling about here and there, shopping, catching a quick pre-flight coffee, racing towards the gate before take-off and looking to see if their loved ones have arrived to collect them on time.
What do all of these travellers have in common – you’ve guessed it – luggage.
Some people are like Mary Poppins and can pack enough essentials for a two week holiday into a small holdall, others insist on taking everything except the kitchen sink with them just in case they need it. But never mind the contents of the luggage, what does the actual type of luggage you carry, roll or push say about you?
Designer Type Trunks and Bags – are saying “look at me, how successful I am, I might even be a rich, famous celebrity”. These types of travellers glide along expecting other travellers to simply part in front of them. These people are the most likely to wear the most inappropriate, uncomfortable footwear for flying.
Crazy Colours and Animal Prints – these are the people you don’t want to get behind in the queue at passport control. Crazy, disorganized, noisy and often very dramatic they are the most likely to lose their passport and need to search every pocket or buy a drink just as the last call for boarding is announced.
Rucksack – eternal teenagers trying to live the young, free lifestyle free of commitment and worry. They feel like they can go anywhere the wind takes them and often have a collection of badges and/or stickers depicting many of the worlds good causes.
Corporate Cases – these people know that they’ve made it in the big wide world and don’t need to try to impress anybody. These cases will undoubtedly contain a laptop which they may whip out at every opportunity.
People (and luggage) watching is terrific fun at Stansted Airport. What type of luggage do you have?
