What makes a great Stansted Hotel Room?
The room you stay in as a guest needs to meet your individual needs, for example if you are a business traveller then you will want a desk to work from perhaps, plenty of sockets and access to the internet. If you are a family then your needs will be different , but this aside there are some important aspects that make up a great room
First is cleanliness, there is nothing worse than staying in a hotel and there being visible signs that someone has been there before you. Yes, you know it’s a hotel but you don’t want to find a half used bar of soap or unwanted hair in the bathroom, or anyones rubbish in the bin. As far as possible you want to feel that it’s your room only, even if it is for a short period of time.
Space is also an important thing to consider, whilst you don’t expect to be able to host your own disco or do 100m sprints, you do need to be able to move around with ease and have enough storage for your belongings. For an Airport hotel, you just don’t need masses of space, but you do want enough to feel comfortable.
General maintenance issues can make a big difference to you on your stay also, things like light bulbs not working, not having enough pillows or towels or not being able to contact reception easily are all small inconveniences that can add up to be big issues for people. A great room will have all of this in place when you arrive. Comfort is another thing, again you don’t necessarily expect a Super King bed and thick pile carpets, you do expect to be able to sleep without springs sticking into your sides.
In terms of a Stansted Airport Hotel having flexible check-in and check-out times is also important to make sure that you aren’t having to hang around for too long, or to make sure that when you arrive there is someone on reception to check you into an available room.
These are just some of the areas that make a great Stansted Airport Hotel room but please do let us have your ideas too!
